IMPORTANCE OF EMPLOYEE RELATIONSHIP FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Introduction

Employee Relationship is a contemporary concept that concerns by leading organizations over the world to achieve predicted business goals without more variations. This concept  dealing with emotions of employees to achieve Business goals while facilitating them to achieve their personal goals in terms of "win win Concept"


Importance of Employee Relationship

Employee Relationship takes a special place in Organizations, as the relationship factors  massively impact to the long term growth and stability of each Organization. In order to achieve Business goals defined by the Management, it is very much important to have well experienced and loyal work force in line. 

Good employee relationship motivates employees for better performance and contributes to the overall success of the organization (Hagos Brhane (PhD scholar) and b Shimels Zewdie (PhD),2018) as well as Good Employee relationship build a strong mutual understand between Employer and Employee, and it directs to work as a team achieving Organizational objectives.



Employees are the most important asset for any organization. Their contribution is immense in the profitability and growth of the company. They bring innovation and paves the way for sustainable development for the organization (Diwakar Singh,2019). As the Good Employee relationship generates more positive results like Employee loyalty, Engagement, Low Employee turnover, all these help to build the Company's status up.

How Employee Relationship positively use for Business Development

Today, the success of a business depends largely on how viably human resource is employed and managed to achieve results through people. Thus, management needs to understand the underlying employee feelings that act as the driving forces for their contribution at work. In order to increase performance, reduce conflicts and performance issues, increase efficiency,
satisfaction, participation, retention, compliance, and commitment, the dynamics of employer-employee relationships must be at the core of management practices (richard hannis ansah1, jane osei2, shahryar sorooshian3*, daniel o. aikhuele4  2018)


The Employee Relation Practice has a significant effect on Employee Performance, and Employee Engagement mediates the relationship between Employee Relation Practice and Employee Performance (Mohammed Sani Abdullahi, Kavitha Raman, Sakiru Adebola Solarin, Adams Adeiza, December 2021). The outcome will therefore encourage and motivate staff to unite or relate with one another, which creates a bond that promotes esprit de corps, trust and cooperation between the employers and the employees in order to achieve substantial performance (Ahmed et al., 2017).


The employees are the ones who have direct contact with the customers and go the extra mile to be helpful. When they are happy, a good relationship between them and the customer is created and maintained. When they are unhappy these employees often direct their unhappiness towards the customers, and make reasons to Business collapse  

Personal Reflection

Many literature findings indicate that no business development without strong employee relationship. As much as the importance of Employee relationship topic has come to the stage. Generally, different employees have different expectations to achieve while employing to achieve Organizational objectives. Employee relationship concept minimize the gap of personal and Organizational objectives achievement facilitating employees to achieve their personal goals while achieving Business goals through the Concept of Employee relationship.

Conclusion

It's obvious that Employee relation has an inspirational power to build any type of business achieving predicted business goals, and proper employee relation helps employees to contribute their 100% knowledge and experience for the Organizational development having a hassle free work environment.

  2. Hi Anji, Thank you very much for your comment and it is a very good question about the implementation that I have made in my company to build employee relationship and retention. Exactly, yes, I have built few implementations that is helpful for a good Employee relationship and retention. First thing is listening, I'm always appreciate employees' suggestions coming over while they are working in the Operation, appreciate them in each staff meeting. Also, helping them providing necessary tools and support for Training and development. Also, we have Annual Carrier Development plan, Salary increment plan as well as a Bonus plan that every one concerns on performance basis, Direct Communicate with employees in operational problem handling is the most important part that every one motivates and inspires to handle next question as a team. Specially, we follows a Grievance analysis process relevant to the employees who are suffering with work stress. We help such kind of employees come out with a proper employment plan. Those are the main implementations made from my end to retain and build a strong relationship with employees.
